Field Support

Experienced Field Technicians, Available Around the Clock

24/7 Field Support for Canadian Oil Sands Operations

For Canadian oil sands operations, getting a rebuilt CAT engine back to work is only part of the job. Independent Rebuild Specialist provides dedicated field service for qualifying CAT 3500 and C175 customers who need experienced technicians available on site after delivery.

For operations that want field service built into their CAT engine program, Independent Rebuild Specialist can provide dedicated on-site coverage rather than dispatch-only support. Your team gets direct access to experienced technicians who are already on site and ready to assist with installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, maintenance, and warranty-related service needs.

Support Built Around Uptime

For uptime-critical operations, every minute matters. That is why dedicated field support provides experienced technicians who are ready to respond when service needs arise. Instead of waiting for support to travel to site, your team has direct access to technicians who understand your equipment and can assist with troubleshooting, repairs, commissioning, and maintenance.
For qualifying programs, Independent Rebuild Specialist can provide 24/7 on-site coverage through four-person field service teams working two-week rotations. Within each rotation, two technicians are on shift and two are off shift, working 12-hour shifts to maintain continuous coverage. This structure provides faster communication and quicker response when service is needed.
For Canadian oil sands operations, where equipment reliability is critical to production, having experienced field support available around the clock helps reduce downtime and keep equipment moving.
